Human rights activists from Amnesty International have not found any conclusive evidence of mass killings or mass graves in eastern Ukraine.
Director of Amnesty International in Ukraine Tetiana Mazur said this on Monday, Radio Liberty reported.
"We have seen isolated incidents of extrajudicial executions, which in some cases are the equivalent of war crimes. These violations have to be brought to an end. All cases in which there is reasonable suspicion should be effectively investigated, and the perpetrators on both sides must be brought to justice," Mazur said.
She said that it was obvious that some of the most shocking cases that were reported, particularly in the Russian media, were overly exaggerated.
