The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili met the Commander in Chief of the Allied forces in Europe, the United States Air Force General Philip Breedlove. One of the topics of discussion was implementation of the essential package that Georgia received at Wales Summit of NATO, reports GHN based on press service of the Prime Minister.
At the meeting with the General, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the package.
As the head of the government noted Georgia appreciates the steady support of the US to Euro Atlantic aspirations of Georgia and it was confirmed by the visit of defense secretary of US to Georgia.
Participation of Georgia in ISAF and crucial support mission was also discussed at the meeting. General Breedlove thanked the Prime Minister of Georgia for contribution to international mission.
The meeting was also attended by the minister of defense Irakli Alasania, the minister of internal affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze, the minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani, first deputy of the minister of foreign affairs Davit Zalkaliani, chief of general task force Vakhtang Kapanadze and secretary of security and crisis management council Mindia Janelidze.
