On October 21, Natia Mikeladze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia held a meeting with Mr. Kim Kyung-Sik, Vice Minister of Land and Infrastructure at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Korea, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
The Korean side held the presentation about transport and logistical infrastructure and stressed the professional experience of the Korean companies in infrastructure projects. The South Korean delegation included the authorities of the leading Korean infrastructure and construction companies.
The Georgian side discussed the issues regarding the close co-operation with Korea in the field of maritime transport, as well as within the framework of the World Bank project. Natia Mikeladze discussed the current transport infrastructure projects in the field of transport, including Deep Water Sea Port of Anaklia, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project, as well as the state policy in the field of investment.
According to Natia Mikeladze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Georgia welcomes to share South Korea's experience in the direction of transport logistics and infrastructure, as well as the Korean Companies' involvement in the current or planned projects.
