In the frame of official visit in Japan the President of Georgia today together with Georgian delegation met with the Speaker of the lower house of Japan's Parliament. Giorgi Margvelashvili and Bunmei Ibuki talked about relations of two countries and discussed future plans, reports GHN.
The sides agreed of deepening of collaboration on Parliament level. They also talked about occupation of territories of Georgia, situation in occupied regions and relations between Russia and Georgia. The President of Georgia underlined that because of non constructive politics of Russia Georgia faces the sad reality. Giorgi Margvelashvili paid attention on the issue of annexation of Crimea.
The President of Georgia thanked Japanese side for support of territorial integrity of the country.
Speaker of the lower house hosted the President of Georgia personally.
The meeting was attended by the members of the Parliament of Georgia Nana Keinishvili, Shota Khabareli, Gia Tsagareishvili, the deputy Foreign Minister Vladimer Girgenidze, secretary of Security Council Irine Imerlishvili and other representatives of the delegation.
