Labour Party leaders say the abuse of religious feelings should be punished demanding amendments to the criminal code of Georgia, which will define the measures of the punishment.
Ioseb Shatberashvili of the party briefed today and said the primary punishment for abusing religious feelings should be monetary fine and for the second incident, guilty should be brought to justice.
The opposition party demands speeded up discussion of the draft amendments, which they have submitted to parliament for consideration. Today they even sent letter to the parliament speaker Davit Bakradze in this regard.
