In the frame of Turkey-Georgia-Azerbaijan trilateral cooperation there will be held joint military training and command and field exercises, it was said on the meeting between the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli garibashvili and the Turkish Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Army General Nejdet Ozel, reports GHN.
The sides discussed the issues of deepening relations and collaboration between two countries.
As the leader of government of Georgia marked between Georgia and Turkey there exists plan of comprehensive collaboration and intensive collaboration in different directions.
"I have said many times and we proved with actions that Turkey is not only neighbor to Georgia but also friend and strategic partner," stated Irakli Garibashvili on the meeting.
The Premier expressed hope towards maximal involvement of Turkey in implementation of essential package of NATO-Georgia and paid attention to the contribution of Turkey in the development of armed forces.
There was marked the wish to deepen collaboration in the sphere of education.
The sides talked about regional security.
The Prime Minister of Georgia thanked the commander of armed forces of Turkey for the support of Georgia on the way of integration in Alliance.
