The first deputy Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaniani met OSCE Special Representative for South Caucasus, co-chairs 27th round of Geneva International Discussions ambassador Angelo Gnaedinger, reports GHN.
On the meeting the sides discussed the results of round of Geneva negotiations held on October 8 and underlined the necessity of constructive negotiations concerning issues of agenda, first of all about non use of force, creation of international mechanisms of security on occupied regions and about issues of returning of refugees.
The Georgian side one more time expressed concern about project of agreement about "alliance and integration" between Sukhumi occupied regime and Russian Federation and marked that such kind of action from Russian side will be estimated as the next step towards annexation of the territories of Georgia. Besides he stated that signing of so called "agreement" will impede achievement of progress in the frame of Geneva negotiations and will be negatively influence of the security situation in Georgia and whole region.
