The partnership relations, integration of Georgia in European Union and current important reforms were the main themes of the meeting of the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Linas Kinkevicius, reports GHN.
With the statement of Irakli Garibashvili the government of Lithuania has especially friendly and partnership relations with the government of Georgia. As he stated the government of Lithuania helps Georgia to achieve aims in foreign politics, also tries to support political and economic stability in the country, strengthening of democratic institutes and statehood.
As there was marked on the meeting Lithuania strictly supports integration of Georgia in NATO in bilateral as well as in multilateral format and expressed readiness to share with Georgia own experience on the way of Euro-Atlantic integration.
The sides also talked about perspectives of using fully potential of economic collaboration. There was underlined the fact that Lithuania shares with Georgia experience in implementation of European standards in agriculture which is priority for Georgia, also shares experience for development of administrative and institutional recourses.
Irakli Garibashvili thanked the guest for support of territorial integrity of the country and for support of non recognition politics of occupied territories.
