The member of Parliamentarian minority Sergo Ratiani stated while talking with GHN that the assessment of state department of USA is hard and Georgia step by step getting closer to the image of authoritarian state, reports GHN.
"The assessments of US state department are hard. We have to say that Georgia step by step getting closer to the image not of democratic or half democratic country but image of not free authoritarian state and this is serious problem. It is bad when our allies assess Georgia as mafia country where one man takes decisions. It is influences negatively on the security of the country as well as on economic situation because with non-free state Americans and other partners will not implement important projects," stated Ratiani while talking with GHN.
As he said the government of busy with only one business and this is chase of political opponents.
"To say honestly they are fated for such kind of actions because other issues are impossible for them to solve. They can't take care of unemployment, to fight criminal," stated Ratiani.
"We still draw attention to the government of Georgia on the protection of law and procedural norms and study the transparency of the issue to avoid the fact that juridical system to be used for political retribution," stated American diplomat. She reminded to the journalists that US was expressing concern towards court cases and there is still reason to be concerned." Also Jen Psak stated that she doesn't want to talk about separate cases because every case has specifics. "But there were whole series of verdicts and that's why we expressed our concern." "We support democratic development of Georgia that is expressed in respect of pluralism and open debates."
