The President of Georgia continues meetings with the representatives of business organizations in the frame of the official visit in Japan. Giorgi Margvelashvili met the President of Agency of International Collaboration of Japan JICA; on the meeting the sides talked about importance of many years collaboration between Georgia and JICA. The sides paid attention to the projects that is implemented by JICA Corporation in Georgia. They also talked about the program of business partnership between Japanese and Georgia companies. They talked about business environment in Georgia that is appealing and which is additional stimulus for interested investors, reports GHN.
On the meeting there was marked about the help of JICA after Georgia declared independency expressed in development of infrastructure, also development of sphere of education and support of agricultural and environmental projects. They also talked about future perspectives and about necessity of deepening collaboration in these spheres.
The President of JICA underlined the importance of the visit of the President of Georgia in Japan and role of strengthening of relations between two countries and paid attention that meeting with representatives of Georgia business circles will bring positive results to economics of the country. As he said encouragement of business by the President has big importance for local entrepreneurs and also for those partners who are interested in implementation different business projects in Georgia.
As the President stated for the support of business sector in Georgia it will be important to open representation of JICA in Georgia and also that representatives of Georgian business circles are given possibility to share their opinion and ideas. As he said they will have possibility to implement new projects with the support of JICA and to find new potential partners outside of Georgia.
