A delegation of observers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) who monitored the early elections for the Verkhovna Rada on October 26 has positively assessed the electoral process, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
PABSEC Vice-President David Saganelidze said this at a press conference on Monday.
"The elections passed well, although activity was much lower than in the previous presidential elections, when turnout was 80%. But then the situation was such that the temperature among people was high and an interest in the election was great," Saganelidze said.
