The early elections for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine were organized and conducted in accordance with international obligations, democratic standards and national legislation, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
Observers from the GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development said this at a briefing on Monday.
"A group of GUAM observers is satisfied with the results of monitoring. The elections in general can be assessed positively - as free and fair," GUAM Secretary General Valeri Chechelashvili said.
Azerbaijan's representative Elton Mammadov, in turn, said that they have remarks to individual polling stations regarding the organization of elections and the activity of election commissions, but they are not fundamental and cannot significantly influence the outcome of the vote.
As reported, GUAM observers monitored the voting process at 37 polling stations.
