The Georgian Foreign Ministry welcomes the extraordinary parliamentary elections held in Ukraine on the 26th of October 2014. It is a regrettable fact that not all Ukrainians were able to fulfil their civic duty to participate in the elections due to the grave situation in the country, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Georgia respects the free and democratic choice of the Ukrainian people who voted for the unity of the country and for the European future and wishes success to the Government of Ukraine, to the newly elected parliament and to all people of Ukraine in the construction of a truly European country.
