October 29 at 18:00 in the hall of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University the Georgian-Ossetian Civil Forum will represent UNDP and EU joint project financed by COBERM - the documentary film "Express of Peace" made in the frame of "Youth Peace Express" also photo exhibition and the results of the program, reports GHN.
The project in this format is the first in the world and has no analogue. Also there should be marked that Georgian and Ossetian students haven't met each other in such kind of project, didn't have before so long term communication and non formal relation, haven't lives together during 17 days.
Especially important the fact that European young people get acquainted with Georgian and Ossetian students and shared to each other own problems, views, values and experience.
On the presentation young people will talk about those impressions that they received together with Ossetian teens while the project. On the meeting there will be held discussions about Georgian-Ossetian relations, conflict and awareness of Georgian young people about this issue. The presentation of the film will be attended by experts of conflict and other interested persons. In the process of the discussion guests will receive information about attitude of Ossetian young people and will be informed about existing situation of Tskhinvali, it will contribute to the students' interest in the problems of the Georgian-Ossetian relations.
The meeting is held with the support and co-participation of Tbilisi State University. In 2014 April-May Georgian and Ossetian students during 17 days traveled in 5 countries (Turkey, Greece, Macedonida, Serbia and Kosovo), there they met students of local universities and youth non-governmental organizations. In the project participated 10 Georgian and 10 Ossetian young people. The supporters of the project also were "Georgian Railway," "Fund of Children and Youth" and company "Badagoni".
