British Center for Process Innovation has begun to work on the conception of creation of windowless airplane and that will end it in 10 years, reports GHN.
As Daily Mail reports the scientists hope that they change heavy glass with soft ultra thin screen that will allow the passenger to look out of board and also to use it as internet surfing.
As the authors of the idea explain the weight of the airplane will be decreased that will also reduce the amount of fuel consumption and tickets will be cheaper too. With CPI-'s calculations, if the weight till be reduced by 1% it will allow to save 0.75% fuel saving.
There is planned to make screens from OLED that is used for mobile phones and TV's. However the main problem is the price and high sensitivity on humidity of OLED.
