Today, the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Office of the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU), reports GHN based on the Ministry of European and Euro Atlantic Integration.
The Memorandum was signed by State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Alex Petriashvili and Rector of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Vladimer Papava.
The purpose of the Memorandum is to deepen cooperation between the TSU and the Office of the State Minister aiming at raising awareness on the issues related to the European and Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as facilitate the professional growth and development of students.
Public lectures by foreign experts, as well as by the senior officials of the Office of the State Minister, regularly delivering information on the European and Euro-Atlantic integration related issues, organising trainings for the advanced students with a view to enhance the qualification and professional development, will be ensured by the Office of the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration according to the Memorandum, in addition, the involvement of the University in the events organised by the Information Centre on NATO and EU.
The Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University will select the advanced students from the relevant faculties for the internship in the Office of the State Minister, participate in the events organised by the Office, prepare scientific articles for the periodical Journal -"Georgia's European Way", and, if necessary, will ensure expert support to the Office of the State Minister. In cooperation with the Office of the State Minister, the University will conduct researches on the European and Euro-Atlantic integration issues.
