The United States will not recognize the so-called "elections of leaders and parliaments of DPR and LPR" scheduled by terrorists in eastern Ukraine for November 2.
U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt wrote this on his Twitter page.
"US will not recognize any election held in separatist-held areas that does not comport with Ukrainian law and is not held with the express consent of the Ukrainian government," the diplomat wrote.
As reported, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia planned to recognize these terrorist elections.
