On the 28th of October 2014, the Georgian Foreign Minister, Ms Maia Panjikidze met the members of the Georgian-Iranian parliamentary friendship group of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who visited Tbilisi at the invitation of the Parliament of Georgia, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The participants of the meeting focused on the traditional friendly and good neighbourly relations between Georgia and Iran and discussed prospects of enhancement of co-operation, including development of economy, culture, education and development of relations between the two peoples.
