Ukrainian Prime Minister and People's Front leader Arseniy Yatseniuk has presented to journalists his draft agreement on the creation of a coalition in the future parliament. He sees the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko as a major strategic partner and also invites Batkivshchyna, Samopomich and Oleh Liashko's Radical Party to negotiations, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
He said this at a press conference on Wednesday.
"I am appealing, first and foremost, to the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko, because I regard the block and personally the president as a major strategic partner in implementing changes in the country. The responsibility for the country's fate now rests with the president and the party that won the first place in these parliamentary elections," he said.
"I also consider it necessary to invite to official and public talks on the formation of the coalition Yulia Tymoshenko and the Batkivshchyna Party, Samopomich and Andriy Sadovy, as well as the Radical Party for which millions of Ukrainians voted," Yatseniuk said.
He also said that he proposed naming the new coalition "European Ukraine."
