The officers of Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-investigative activities detained: Tengiz Leqvinadze (DoB 1962) and the director of "Victoria Travel-2007" Zaza Partladze (DoB 1964). The mentioned persons, on the name of dance troupe- "XXI Century" manufactured forged certificates of employment and property status for 40 Georgian citizens in order to help them receive Shengen Visas. In connection with the mentioned case Lili Gelenidze (DoB 1954)- Head of the Service for Culture, Sports and Education of Tskaltubo local government was also detained.
Detainees have already pleaded guilty. Investigation is conducted by the employees of Investigative Division of Border Police under the articles 362 and 332 envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
