I was assured from the Minister of Defense that in implementation of NATO-Georgian package Germany will have leading role, - stated the Minister of Defense Irakli Alasania while his official visit in Germany after meeting with Germany colleague Ursula von der Leyen, reports GHN.
"We discussed those trainings that Georgian armed forces went through in Afghanistan and assessment is very high. Their military readiness in very high and in 2015 together with Germans they will continue to act for international peace. We also talked about NATO-Georgia package and I was assured from the Minister of Defense that Germany will have leading role while implementation of this package and which is the basis on the way of joining NATO," stated Alasania.
