The Premier thanked Asian Development Bank for organization of International Investment Forum in Tbilisi in the frame of which more than 100 high raked guests were informed about investment possibilities of Georgia. The participant businessmen showed interest in investment projects, reports GHN.
With the statement of Irakli Garibashvili Georgia is ready to use its strategic location and to be regional center and doorway between Asia and Europe.
As there was marked on the meeting the Association Agreement with European Union increases the attractiveness of Georgia and creates new investment possibilities for business. The sides also talked about the importance of the support of Asian Development Bank in the direction of improving of roads, municipal, urban, water and energy infrastructure.
"The projects develop very impressively that are implemented with the support of Asian Development Bank in Georgia. While meeting with Prime Minister we talked how to strengthen support of Georgia in many directions, among them the politics of loan for mobilization of recourses, developing of capital market and pension reform, public finances, roads, water supply, transport and logistics," stated the Vice President of Asian Development Bank.
The meeting was attended by the permanent representative of Asian Development Bank in Georgia Katie Julian, senior adviser of Vice President of Asian Development Bank Uifing Huang, economist of Asian Development Bank Lica Vavakis, from Georgian side - the Minister of Economics and Sustainable Development, Vice Premier Giorgi Kvirikashvili, assistant of the Prime Minister of Georgia in economical issues, secretary of Economic Council Roman Chkhenkeli and the deputy of the Minister of Economics and Sustainable Development Ketevan Bochorishvili.
