Georgian writer in Moscow Boris Akuni (Grigor Chkhartishvili) calls the day of coronation of last Emperor of Russia (1894, November 1) as "sad jubilee", reports GHN.
The writer published his large article on the site on radio station "Ekho Moskvi".
"Exactly 120 years ago the ruler of Russia became person who brought country in black hole. He was ill with inferiority complex, with weak willpower, was stubborn man however with some kind of noble traits, decent, hardworking with subtlety which is not trait of the dynasty of Romanov's for sure. In spite of this he is guilty in civil wars and in death of millions of people that became victims of massive political repressions after overthrow of the government," writes Akunin.
