On October 28, a briefing was held within the framework of Tbilisi fashion week for the representatives of the foreign media. The briefing was attended by Ketevan Bochorishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and Kakhi Kandelaki, First Deputy Minister of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
The 10th Tbilisi Fashion week is attended by the foreign buyers and the representatives of the Georgian factories invited by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and Enterprise Development Agency. Besides, according to the negotiation between the Tourism National Administration and Tbilisi Fashion week, press tour was organized. Within the framework of press tours, the foreign journalist from the editions such as: Grazia Italy, Harper's Bazaar (Russia & Kazakhstan), Buro 24/7, SNC Magazine, Wanderlust City guide, Interview Russia, NARGIS Magazine will prepare reports about Georgia and Tbilisi Fashion Week.
With the support of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and Enterprise Development Agency, clothes of the Georgian factories: Elselema, Unistyle LTD, Iveria Uniforms, Vogue, L.G. will be presented at the Fashion Week. Among which, Elselema sews winter clothes for a very famous brands, such as Moncler.
According to Ketevan Bochorishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, "We aim at developing Georgian designers to produce their work from so-called boutiques to serial enterprise and to expand their businesses and become more successful. Thus, we are trying to connect designers and Georgian factories that are working successfully for foreign brands".
