Within the framework of the State Program - Produce in Georgia in terms of infrastructure direction, several new enterprises will be created. On October 30, the Government of Georgia made a decision about it at the session. The National Agency for State Property Management at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia will dispose the property to four enterprises at symbolic prices, in particular, for one Georgian Lari. On the basis of these properties new enterprises will be open and operating in two years time, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
A factory for construction materials will be open in Khelvachauri Municipality. To this end, non- agriculture land with buildings occupied 7 6952m will be disposed for One Georgian Lari to ltd DAR CAPITAL. The company will employ 120 people as it starts functioning. The amount of implementing investments is 1 303 944 Georgian Lari.
The non- agriculture land with the buildings on the area of 19812m in Didi Digomi, Tbilisi was disposed to LTD "Saqelektrodi" where enterprise for metal fabrications will be created. To this end, the company is planning to invest 712 722 Georgian Lari and employ minimum 20 people.
About 100 people will be employed in the textiles enterprise. Ltd Royal Georgia is planning to create this factory at the territory of Chirnakhuli St. N 5-7 in Tbilisi. The state owned non - agriculture land with building on it of 5 3632 m on the above mentioned address. This land was disposed to ltd Royal Georgia for one Georgian Lari. The amount of planned investment is 1 410 000 Georgian Lari.
240 000 Georgian Lari will be invested for creation of the enterprise producing building materials in Kutaisi, Nikea St. where 70 people will be employed. The investment will be implemented by ltd Kordi, the non - agriculture land of 2 2222m area was disposed to the company at a symbolic price.
It is worth mentioning that these four companies are planning sell their production not only on the local market, but also to export them in neighbor countries.
Apart from these approved projects within the framework of the State Program - Produce in Georgia, creation of one more enterprise was promoted by the Government of Georgia. The land in Abasha was disposed to ltd Georgian land Corporation. The company is planning to build farm complex of 600 cattle at this area and spend 5 000 000 USD for this project.
"I think, it is very good that after the implementation of these projects, about 400 people will be employed. Overall about 8mln USD will be invested in two years time" - Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Vice Prime Minister said after the government session.
32 projects have already been approved since the the State Program - Produce in Georgia started. Out of this 18 project belong to the finance component of the program, 14 projects to the infrastructure component. Currently, several enterprise projects are under discussion.
