The commission session was attended by the representatives of responsible bodies from both sides, including Nodar Kereselidze, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Georgia and David Jalagania, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

The sides discussed the issues regarding the deepening co-operation between Georgia and Hungary in the following fields: trade and investments, civil aviation, railway, telecommunication, energy, agriculture, environmental protection, intellectual property, standardization, conformity assessment and metrology, accreditation, statistics, education, euro integration, health care etc.

The sides discussed the issues regarding the co-operation in the field of agriculture and the projects implemented in this direction. As it was also mentioned, Georgia will work to increase export of the Georgian agricultural production on Hungarian market. The working group on agriculture related issues will also be created.

Mikheil Janelidze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia expressed his hope that Hungary will manage ratification of the Association Agreement between Georgia and the EU before the end of this year. He also mentioned that the business and investment forum will be planned in 2015 and the representatives of the business circles from the two countries will take part in this forum.

After the commission session, Mikheil Janelidze, Head of the commission and Laszlo Sabo signed the minutes of the session where a joint working program in the direction of projects implementation has been defined. The program on the co-operation in the field of tourism and memorandum of understanding in the field of quality infrastructure were signed by the representatives of respective governmental bodies from both countries.
