Within the project "Open Government Partnership" the Government Administration of Georgia will give the information about the report of two-year activities of the government to representatives of regional media, reports GHN based on press service of the Prime Minister.
With the initiative of the Government Administration the meeting will be held in hotel Ambassador in Kachreti on November 3-4 and it will be led by deputy chief of the government administration Nino Kobakhidze.
Heads of public relations departments of Government Administration and state agencies will also present views and plans of the government regarding public relations and open government to more than 30 representatives of regional media.
The meeting will be held with the support of UNDP project "government reform fund" and Sida.
Georgia as one of the members of OGP governing committee is still actively involved in the action plan of international initiative "open government partnership". The Government Administration continues performing the obligations within the second national action plan of open government which implies constant communication between state structures and public, unprecedented high openness, publicity of information and informing public on government activities.
Within the project the two-year report of the government will also be presented to non-government sector, representatives of international organization and experts. Discussions will be held with the purpose to spread and share the information.
Till the end of the year the representatives of central and local government will meet the local people in regions for the purpose of publicity of their activities.
Accountability and openness will still be the key priority of the Government.
