Prime Minister met with the Turkish Grand National Assembly Speaker Cemil Cicek, reports GHN.
The main themes on the conversation were the issues of deepening of collaboration between two countries, enhancing inter-parliamentary friendship groups and the activation and development of trade and economic relations.
As there was marked on the meeting Turkey is number first trade partner of Georgia. Also there was underlined the importance of the project of Baku-Tbilisi-Karsi railway, that will deepen regional collaboration in transport and trade spheres.
As the Premier stated Georgia considers Turkey as reliable and strategic partner and considers as important its support on the way of integration in Euro-Atlantic structures. Irakli Garibashvili thanked speaker of the Parliament of Turkey for the program about "Teaching Georgian language in Turkish public and private schools in 2014-2015 years". On the meeting was also marked that collaboration in the sphere of cultural heritage with Turkey is one of the main priorities for Georgia.
