In the terrorist-controlled areas in Donbas, because of the destruction of the banking system by militants, pharmacies are unable to purchase medicines, and their stocks are ending, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing on Tuesday.
"In the areas in Donetsk region temporarily controlled by terrorists, due to the destruction of the banking system by them, pharmacies are unable to purchase medicines. New purchases are not made, whereas the range and amount of medicines are declining rapidly," Lysenko said.
