The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has sent a note of protest to the Russian Foreign Ministry due to Russia's continued military aggression in Donbas, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said this at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
"Along with propaganda convoys, Russia, less publicly but not less regularly, continues to send military equipment, weapons and regular troops to Ukraine. Yesterday the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry sent a note to the Russian Foreign Ministry expressing strong protest due to the continuing acts of Russian aggression against Ukraine, support for the DPR and LPR terrorist groups, the continuation of actions aimed at further escalation of the situation in Ukraine, and the build-up of Russian Armed Forces groups near the state border of Ukraine," Perebyinis said.
According to the diplomat, the note points to specific cases of violations by Russia of the Minsk agreements. Among them are the continued shelling by regular units of the Russian Armed Forces, together with illegal armed groups in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, of the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the accumulation and movement to the territory of Ukraine of personnel of the Russian Armed Forces and military equipment, including Grad and Smerch multiple rocket launchers, tanks, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, the deployment of command posts of the Russian Armed Forces in Donetsk, as well as the redeployment to the zone of the anti-terrorist operation of the Vympel special forces unit of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).
