On the 4th of November 2014 the Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister, Ms Tamar Berushashvili held a meeting with the UK Minister of State for Europe, Mr David Lidington, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two discussed Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration processes. Discussions focused on Georgian-Russian relations and on the issues of regional security.
Special attention was paid to the first meeting of the Georgian-British political dialogue scheduled to take place in London, on the 19th and 20th of November that will upgrade the relations between the two countries to a qualitatively new level. High-level bilateral meetings are planned to be held within the framework of the political dialogue where specific trends of cooperation and prospects for its development will be discussed.
