The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili estimates the action of ex-Minister of Defense Irakli Alasania as betrayal of the victory of October 1st, 2012 and as attempt to lie to Georgian people, reports GHN.
"Alasania's action for me personally of course is betrayal of the victory of October 1st2012 and attempt to lie to Georgia people and he has done it many times,- stated the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Alasania on the meeting with Ministers. The leader of the government considers actions of Irakli Alasania, Maia Panjikidze and Alex Petriashvili as the step made against the state.
"Their irresponsible, inadequate, absurd statements and the style of lie of National Movement harm our country. I was forced to make several public statements during last two days to avoid doubts that were connected to their absurd statements. For example Maia Panjikidze had attempt to make deputies to follow her and it confirms their irresponsibility and disrespect towards our group. These people were together with us during three years and they want to forget about and to say no to that victory that we achieved together with Bidzina Ivanishvili. It's very sad for me," stated Irakli Garibashvili.
With the information of the Prime Minister the deputies of the Minister of Foreign Affairs except Davit Zalkaniani will remain on their positions because they showed that they have state position. As Irakli Garibashvili marked this week two Ministers of Foreign Affairs visit Georgia and it would be shameful if there wouldn't be someone to meet them in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The leader of the government also marked that business circle is concerned however there is no basis for this.
"We are not afraid of ten and hundred Alasanias and of course we will overcome this absurd resistance easily, but his action in style of Saakashvili makes me to question. It is very sad that people whom I consider that are our friends, comrades are on his side. Unfortunately they are deceived and soon they will know that they make big mistake because they made choice between person and the state. This is their choice and they will also share that big responsibility that is connected to their mistake," stated the Premier.
Irakli Garibashvili addressed population that Georgia is strong state which has strong government and it is expressed in democracy.
The Premier said that state institutes are working effectively and there will not be any kind of resistance in the government and also in the Parliament.
"There is no danger of crisis and there is no threat, we have strong and firm majority in the Parliament and the government will continue to work more effectively. It is better that betrayers went from our group and it is good for our people and country. I am sad about the fact that they don't take care of the state and they don't feel pity for people which went through many disasters. Their actions harms out country. We have to work intensively during two weeks to avoid absurd question but we will be able to do it. We are mobilized united group and we have to continue to move forward without emotions, calmly. I want to call on the population to keep calm, there is nothing going on. One adventurer, ambitious Minister without mind went from our group. I want to remind that single person who was openly lobbying and protecting National Movement, Gigi Ugulava, Bokeria was Irakli Alasania. All the questions are resolved for me. His statement that he is going to collaborate with every pro-European force, among them with "National Movement" is self lustration. The population will know many surprises. It will be shameful for him and for his group who will also know many surprises about him," stated Irakli Garibashvili.
The Premier called on the members of the government to continue working maximally affectively and stated that in nearest days he will appoint the Minister of Foreign Affairs and State Minister in European and Euro Atlantic Integration. The leader of the government is sure that everything will be better than it was till today," stated the Premier.
