The Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili held an introductory meeting with the head of the EU delegation to Georgia Janosh Herman. The parties discussed the priority issues of cooperation between Georgia and EU and set the perspectives of deepening the cooperation, reports GHN based on press service of the Prime Minister.
Janosh Herman holds the position of the head of EU representation to Georgia from October 2014.
Hungarian diplomat started his career from 70ies of last century. In 1976 he was appointed as an attaché in Hungarian embassy in Peru. He worked on different positions in Hungarian embassies in Mexico and Greece. In 2001 he became a resident representative of Hungary in NATO. In 2005-2009 he was a chief advisor of European Commission foreign affairs doctorate in regional cooperation. In 2009-2013 he became the head of the EU delegation to Norway and Iceland. At the beginning of 2014 he was on the position of EU special representative in Central Asia.
