The Georgian government is ready to restore the good neighbor relations with Moscow, Davit Jalagania, Deputy Foreign Minister said today during the Press Conference.
"The readiness to have good relations with Russia in all directions, this is our aim of executive government and as a governmental body. Before and after the war we were interested in relations with Russian Federation. However the present position of Russian federation is very strict one. They are declaring that they will not hold discussions with Georgian government. The international community is well informed about this as well, ‘' - Jalagania said.
He noted that despite of such position of Russian Federation Georgia is ready to resume dialogue with Russian Federation with the fulfillment of one simple condition - Russian Federation has to respect territorial sovereignty of Georgia and its territorial integrity.
