Russia continues supplying military equipment and manpower to the area of the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing on Friday.
"In particular, military vehicles, including 32 tanks, 16 D-30 howitzers and 30 KamAZ trucks with ammunition and manpower, were sighted yesterday moving from Russia in the direction of Krasny Luch in Luhansk region. A column of trucks, including three KamAZs with radar stations, entered Ukraine from Russia through the Izvaryne checkpoint yesterday," he said.
According to Lysenko, the redeployment of Russian military and mercenaries to the front line continues. The anti-terrorist operation forces are preparing for adequate action under any developments, he added.
