Criminal proceedings on the grounds of a terrorist attack have been launched due to an explosion that ripped through the Stina rock pub in Kharkiv, the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office has reported.
"The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office oversees a pre-trial investigation into the explosion at a cafe in the city center. The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) office in Kharkiv region included information about the event into a single register of pre-trial investigations under Part 2, Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (a terrorist attack that led to serious consequences)," reads the statement.
As reported, the explosion occurred at a rock pub in Kharkiv on Rymarska Street late on Sunday. Eleven people sustained injuries and were taken to medical institutions.
