Georgian president will chair the state Security Council session in the presidential palace today. State strategy towards the occupied territories of Georgia and the new, closer relationship with the European Union will be the key issues discussed at the session, which is scheduled for 5 PM. State Minister for Reintegration Temur Iakobashvili and Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze will be the reporters on the issues.
The opposition leaders have been invited to the enlarged session of the Security Council and some of them have agreed to attend it. The former members of the Alliance for Georgia, the leaders of the New Rights party, Republican Party and the Our Georgia-Free Democrats will not attend the session.
The representatives of the parliamentary opposition and the leaders of the Industrialists` Party have already announced that they will voice some proposals at today`s session.
