The government of US states that is ready to change sanctions imposed against Russia however also marks that if Russia will fulfill the terms of the Minsk agreement the sanctions will be more rigid, reports GHN.
"In case if the combat actions will be stopped in Ukraine, captives will be released and the border of Russia-Ukraine will be under control we are ready to change imposed sanctions. We are sure that this crisis is impossible to solve by military way and is depended only on political decisions," stated the representative of US in UN Samantha Pauer on the meeting of the UN Security Council.
As Pauer said it is impossible to take political decisions if only one side supports it and if Russia and militants who are supported by Russia will permanently violate the obligations.
"We saw how Russia was acting in South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Crimea and Transnistria. That's why case is not what Russia will do in Ukraine, the case is what will we, international society do not to allow Russia to make fabrication on one more conflict in Europe," stated the representative of US.
As she said the international community has to impose proper responsibility to Moscow for violation of Minsk negotiations.
"We can't trust Russia... there is need no for words but actions. The actions of Russia clearly expresses its aims," underlined Samantha Pauer and called in the participants of the meeting to continue pressure of Russia in future too to fulfill obligations of the negotiations and to choose way of de-escalation of conflict.
"The actions of Russia in Ukraine - it is threat to whole international community not only to neighbor countries," - said in her speech representative of United States of America.
