Georgia may expect from "Old Europe" upholding with empty words only. Soso Tsintsadze, political scientist said to GHN. "Romania and Poland these are countries of new young Europe. Its Parliaments passed the resolutions in support of Georgia; such resolution may pass Czech Republic as well, but we cannot expect passing of similar resolutions from the "fathers" of EU - France Germany, Italy as they are not interested in such type of activity, "- political scientist said in conversation with GHN.
He said the "Old Europe" always will uphold Georgia with words only; it always will fix the territorial integrity of Georgia, but it is not likely that it will take some steps for big actions.
We remind you that yesterday Romanian Senate unanimously passed the "resolution about the situation in Georgia" in which once more was underlined the upholding of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.
The document once more recognized Abkhazia and Tskhinvali as inalienable part of Georgia and condemns the fact of recognition of these territories as "independent" ones. In this context Romanian Senate demands the fulfillment of 6- points document of August 12 of 2008 in which the case-fire is stipulated.
"The document upholds the governmental strategy of Georgia in connection with occupied territories and condemned the attempt of ethnic dividing of the population in the Abkhazian and S.O. territories. The document reads the necessity for secessionist regimes to obey the international norms including rights of refugees to return to its homes, " - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared.
