President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a phone conversation with President of Finland Sauli Niinisto expressed considerable concern about the mass inflow of troops and heavy armament from the Russian border.

The parties discussed the results of the UN Security Council emergency meeting on Ukraine, particularly the testimony of the OSCE, the United States, the UK, France, Lithuania, Luxembourg and Australia, who confirmed that the worsening of the situation in Donbas had been caused by Russia's brutal violation of the Minsk agreements.
"In this context, President Poroshenko expressed deep concern over the mass inflow of troops and heavy armament from Russia. The Ukrainian President called on Finland and the EU to demonstrate unity in the support of Ukraine in the face of external aggression," a statement reads.
The President of Ukraine expressed gratitude to Finland for the support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
President Niinisto, in turn, assured of his complete support to the Minsk agreements as the way to the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbas that is to be observed by all the parties, including Russia.
