The former Minister of Foreign Affairs Salome Zurabishvili responds to the death of former Minister of Economics Kakha Bendukidze in social net and states that she visited the university founded by him and said that when person will do things like he was doing it should be appreciated, reports GHN.
"Some will be surprised and some not... but I am sorry... I am sorry because no one proved bad about this person (I mean the accusations of selling actives of the country to Russia. They were blaming him in cases which were not his responsibility and in which cases there were other people who were feeling more comfortable: Bejhuashvili and others), I know good thing that he did: I visited the university founded by him some time ago and think that when someone is doing things like he was doing it should be appreciated...He did more for Georgian education and for those young people who can't go out from country for education more than the Ministers of Education... that's why I am sorry together with his students," states Zurabishvili.
