Director of Central Police Department, police colonel Ivane Papiashvili, head of the Service for the Cooperation on Fight against International Crime Levan Chikvaidze and Police Attache in the Republic of Belarus Giorgi Modebadze held meeting with Belarusian colleagues, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the official meetings Georgian delegation was hosted by the Deputy Minister of Interior of Belarus, Genelar-Major Valentin Mikhnevich, Deputy Head of Division for International Relations, Colonel Aleksandr Ablameinko, head of the operative-information unit of Criminal Police, Vice-colonel Aleksandr Podgrusha, Head of the Main Division for the Drug Control and Fight against Trafficking, Colonel Vasili Losich, Head of the Main Division on the Fight against Economic Crime, Colonel Eduard Nikitin and Head of the Main Division for the Crime Detection of Criminal Police, Colonel Anatoli Sakovick.
Aim of the visit is to intensify cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Georgia and Belarus in the field of organized and drug crime, human trafficking and International drug trafficking.
