In the rank of the Minister the State Minister of European and Euro Atlantic Integration Davit Bakradze will held first official meetings in Brussels. The Minister arrived in Belgium where he was ambassador before, reports GHN.
Bakradze together with Garibashvili will attend the first meeting of the Association council of Georgia-European Union. "There will be held the first meeting of the Association council where we will exchange large volume of information about the work that was done. There will be made comments from both sides, will make plans for future collaboration, also there is planned bilateral meetings tomorrow, day after tomorrow, the Premier will held meetings with European Commissioner and NATO secretary general," stated Bakradze.
We remind that today November 17 in Brussels will be held first meeting of Association council that will be attended by the delegation of Georgia under leadership of the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili. As GHN was informed from press service of the Premier on the Association meeting, that will be leaded by the EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, will be discussed future plans and mechanisms of effective implementation of reforms determined by agenda.
After the end of the first meeting of Association council there will be held joint press conference of Irakli Garibashvili and Federica Mogherini.
One of the first meetings of the visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia in Brussels is planned in the headquarters of NATO. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will host Irakli GAribashvili. After the meeting is planned joint press conference.
In the frame of two day visit the leader of the government of Georgia also will held meetings with the President of Euro Parliament Martin Schulz. After the meeting the sides will make comments for the media.
There are planned negotiations with Euro commissioner, among them with European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Johannes Han and European Commissioner for Trade, Cecilia Malmstrom.
In the delegation of Georgia together with the Prime Minister are the Minister of Economics and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the Minister of Foregn Affairs Tamar Beruchashvili, the Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani, the Minister of Defense Mindia Janelidze, the State Minister of European and Euro Atlantic Structures Davit Bakradze, the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Paata Zakareishvili and deputy of the head of the administration of the government Nino Kobakhidze.
