The European Union welcomes the successful implementation of the first phase of the visa liberalization Action Plan,- stated the Euro commissioner in the issues of migration, internal affairs and citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos while the meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili, reports GHN.
With the information of press service of the government the Euro commissioner expressed readiness to support Georgia to positively assess the second phase of action plan. With this aim the first mission will visit Georgia on November 24.
While the meeting the Premier talked about the results that Georgia reached in the implementation of action plane of visa liberalization.
With the statement of Irakli Garibashvili the law about "Protection of personal data", migration strategy and action plan, also national strategy of human right and action plan according to recommendations of Thomas Hammarberg and law "on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination" is adopted. The leader of the government confirmed once again to Euro commissioner loyalty to European and Euro Atlantic course and stated that Georgia is ready for successful implementation of Association Agreement.
