The Georgian Prime Minister, Mr Irakli Gharibashvili met the Chief of Foreign Committee of the European Parliament, Mr Elmar Brok, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
They discussed the implementation of the reforms considered by the agenda of association. At the meeting the political importance of ratification of the association agreement by the European Parliament was emphasized.
The parties discussed the results of the first meeting of the association council and expressed their hope that political dialogue of Georgia-EU will be much more intensive.
