In Gagra the School No 2 was reopened. The school building is of XIX century architecture-style constructed by Prince Oldenburg. During the Soviet period it was dedicated for secondary schools Georgian and Russian, later only Russian school was left in a building. After the war in Abkhazia it was not functioning.
Alexander Tkachov, Krasnodar governor financed the repair works in a building.

The Abkhazian party informs that at the ceremony of opening were Victor Basargin, Regional Development Minister of Russian Federation and other public officials from Russian Federation. They arrived to Abkhazia for participation in the III Abkhazian-Russian business forum.
